Thaçi says that Kosovo will open the office for economic affairs in Athens

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, met today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Kotzias.

The head of state thanked Minister Kotzias for the support of Greece and the positive attitude towards Kosovo in the regional and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

"Despite the lack of recognition, we positively assess the current level of political dialogue between the two states. We have expressed our willingness to maintain and deepen the achieved level of political cooperation by continuing the practice of meetings and visits of high political levels, which contribute to the positive progress of our neighborly relations and which promote cooperation and dialogue between the two countries. , said Thaçi.

He expressed his conviction that the recognition of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state by Greece would strengthen stability and peace in the region and promote the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo and the entire region.

During the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Greece, Nikos Kotzias, Thaçi emphasized that Kosovo will soon open the Office for Economic Affairs in Athens, which will be a catalyst for the growth of economic cooperation between the two respective states.
