Thaçi on the suspicious photo of Brovina: I am not the head of KIA

The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, was asked about the photograph published yesterday by MP Flora Brovina, where a woman was seen being raped by some soldiers, but then suspicions arose that the event in the photograph had taken place in Iraq and not in Kosovo as Brovina claimed. .

"I am not the head of the KIA", the president answered when asked if he has information about where the photo was taken and he had seen it beforehand, reports KSP. He made these comments after the memorial academy for the hero Rifat L. Berisha.

Thaçi, counting Serbia's crimes against the civilian population in Kosovo, said that everyone should be united in condemning the Serbian genocide.

"Serbia committed genocide, killed over 13 Albanians, committed over 500 massacres against Albanian civilians, women, children, and the elderly. Serbia has raped about 400 thousand Albanian women, expelled about 20 million citizens from Kosovo, Serbia has killed over 1 thousand Albanian children, and genocide has no edges, this is the genocide of the state of Serbia. Therefore, at this moment, all of us, without political difference, without local difference, without any difference, must unite in condemning the genocide and bring them to justice", said Thaçi.

Thaçi did not want to comment on the photo and its authenticity, however, after the journalists' insistence, he briefly said that Kosovo is the photo of the Serbian genocide.

"I am not the head of KIA. "Kosovo itself is the picture of the genocide of Serbia in 98-99", he said.
