Thursday morning, October 2, brought the first snow of the season to Kosovo. The mountainous areas, mainly in the Dukagjini region, were covered by heavy snowfall.
Images shared on social media show that snow has covered Prevalla, Brezovica, Brodi, and the Strellc area in Deçan.
The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute had previously warned of the possibility of snowfall in early October in mountainous areas.
Meanwhile, in low-lying areas, the weather is mainly accompanied by rain.
