“It educates us with justice, compassion and high morals and guides us towards inner peace. Ramadan is the school of the soul, where the believer is cleansed of mistakes, strengthened in faith and grows in piety. It is the time when reading the Quran becomes the breath of the heart, prayer the language of the soul and charity the light on our path. The Messenger, Muhammad, peace be upon him, was the most generous man, and his generosity reached its peak precisely in this blessed month. On this blessed night, when the moon of Ramadan rises above the spiritual horizon of our country, let us reflect on two loves that shape us: love of religion and love of homeland. Ramadan is more than fasting, it is a divine school, self-restraint, purification of conscience and moral elevation. It makes man more sensitive to others and more dedicated to the common good. Our history proves that our faith has been a source of inspiration for civic and national commitment, especially at key moments such as the proclamation of the "Kosovo's independence, on February 17, 2008, when the long sacrifice for freedom, justice and dignity was crowned. Love for religion and homeland are not contradictory, but complement each other. Faith shapes character, while homeland gives space for action. Ramadan calls us to strengthen the connection with God and responsibility towards our country, institutions and our common future. Fasting in the holy month of Ramadan is one of the most special acts of worship, because it is the worship that the believer performs only for the sake of the Creator, with complete conviction, free will and deep spiritual sincerity," he said.

Tërnava called for preserving brotherhood and the nation with a pure heart and determination.

"The message of Ramadan is peace, it cleanses the heart from hatred, stops insults and raises respect as the foundation of coexistence. It is a call for self-restraint, brotherhood and active love that brings social harmony. Inciting hatred is a grave sin and a betrayal of the spirit of this month. Let us preserve our brotherhood and our nation, with a pure heart and determination so that love triumphs over every division," he said at the conference. /EO
