On Friday at 15 p.m., the online system opens for withdrawing 10% from the Trust

On December 11, 2020, the application of contributors to withdraw 10 percent of their pension savings in the Kosovo Pension Savings Fund (FKPK), said the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti.

This opportunity was created on the basis of the Law on economic recovery, which was approved on December 4 in the Assembly of Kosovo.

Hoti said that the Trust has announced that they are ready for the launch of the online site, regarding the withdrawal of 10 percent. 

"I am glad that now the law has been published in the official gazette and these institutions can start working as provided by law. From the information we received from the deputy governor, from the chairman of the board and from the director of the Trust, it is that all the preparations have been made, the information has been shared between these two institutions. The system has been prepared, the website has also been opened, and on Friday at 15:00 in the afternoon, the system will be opened for citizens to apply for the withdrawal of these savings", said Hoti.

In a press conference, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, together with the Minister of Finance, Hykmete Bajrami, the member of the Board of Directors of the FKPK, Ruzhdi Morina and Sokol Havollin, deputy governor at the Central Bank of Kosovo, said that these institutions have completed all the necessary procedures to start the application.

The application for the withdrawal of 10 percent of the savings from the contributors can only be made online through a special website.

"The Pension Savings Trust in cooperation with the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance and other institutions has made all the necessary technical preparations. We are working intensively so that all the necessary tests can be done and on Friday the system will be opened for application and all citizens will be able to apply for the withdrawal of funds. Also launched today is the online platform which is www.trusti10.org will be another website. The application will be very simple, personal number and bank account. Based on the applications, we expect to make the payment of these funds very quickly, and we expect that the largest payment of these funds for all those who apply before the 22nd or 24th of this month, the money will be able to be paid before the end of the year holiday. We believe that every week we will make a payment of the means and we hope that in this direction there will not be any problem", said Morina.

Based on the Law on economic recovery, contributors can withdraw 10 percent of their pension savings to the Kosovo Pension Savings Fund. Contributors who have savings up to 10 thousand euros, in case of withdrawal of 10 percent from their side, the Government of Kosovo will compensate them within the next five years.

On Tuesday, the Trust released a video giving instructions for applying for the 10 percent withdrawal.
