The chairman of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, said that the spring session of the Assembly was concluded with about 30 unfinished items. According to him, this shows the efficiency of the Assembly's work.
"The spring session started at the end of January this year with over 30 unfinished points of the autumn session and we are also closing this session with some 30 unfinished points. This shows the efficiency of the work of this Assembly", Tahiri declared on Friday in a press conference.
He said that this session was a period of victories in PDK's constitutional battles in defense of the public interest and the values of the democratic state.
According to him, the Parliamentary Group of the PDK is continuously committed to stop the projects and initiatives, according to him, harmful of the Kurti Government.
Tahiri said that the Government has ignored the Assembly and has abandoned its responsibility and accountability to the citizens.
He stated that the PDK has won several constitutional battles.

"The first battle related to the Law on the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets, was an initiative that contradicted our constitutional order that the Constitutional Court upheld our claims. And, on the other hand, there was also the Law on the Independent Supervisory Council, which was an initiative to destroy the civil service in the Republic of Kosovo, a 20-year investment from our funds as taxpayers of the state and from EU funds", Tahiri emphasized. .
He said that during this session the PDK has proposed the establishment of four investigative commissions, the one "for the repayment of millions of debts to water bottlers from the Ministry of Environment, for the disappearance of Astri Dehar's samples and the fires in IML, for single-source contracts in the ministry and in central public enterprises and for subsidizing school textbooks".
