The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has congratulated the Kosovo Police, the Prosecutor's Office and all other institutions for carrying out the next action in the "Brezovica" case, where 100 built objects were temporarily seized.
Svechla said in a post on Facebook that all offenders will be brought to justice.
"I congratulate the Kosovo Police, the Prosecutor's Office and all other institutions for the successful implementation of the next action in the uncompromising fight against crime, corruption and abuse of office, in the 'Brezovica' action after evaluating the reports from the Directorate for the Investigation of Crimes Rënda in Pristina, the Cadastral Agency of Kosovo and the Agency for Environmental Protection of Kosovo. We are determined to apply the law to the maximum and all offenders and abusers will be brought to justice and the competent bodies. Our fight against crime, corruption and extortionists of public wealth will continue in the coming days with all the full commitments of our institutional bodies in the effective protection of the commons", Sveçla wrote on Facebook.
The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Ferizaj announced on Tuesday that it has temporarily seized about 100 buildings built in the area of Brezovica.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, it is estimated that the facilities were built in violation of the Law on the "Sharri" National Park as well as the Spatial Plan for the "Sharri" National Park approved by the Assembly of Kosovo.
