Sweden: The explosion in the north, revenge for the arrest of three Serbs for war crimes

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, has connected the hand grenade throwing in the north of Mitrovica at midnight, with the arrest of three Serbian citizens suspected of war crimes.

"Crimes committed during the war in Kosovo will be pursued to the end, while the throwing of military hand grenades by criminal groups cannot deter justice. From the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, after a long engagement and with well-founded suspicions, 3 Serbian citizens have been arrested for crimes committed against the civilian population during the war in Kosovo. The same are suspected to have been accomplices in torture, wounding, murder, deportation, and massacres against Albanians in Vushtrri, its surrounding villages and in Smrekovnica Prison. As a sign of revolt against the arrest of these persons, as a message to our justice and with the aim of causing terror to our citizens, criminal groups last night threw military hand grenades in the Bosnian Quarter", Sveçla wrote on Facebook.

He has accused the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, of inspiring, supporting and ordering this criminal act.

"Serbia committed genocide in Kosovo. Serbia, led by Vucic, not only does not accept this fact, but glorifies war criminals. The proof of its unchanged attitude is the very planning of the act of throwing the grenade", he added.

In the end, Sveçla declared that "Kosovo will be a state of law, of equal citizens where equality and prosperity will be guaranteed for everyone".
