This is just one of the rooms that has been prepared in the facility of the Family Medicine Center in Suharekë with about 20 beds, dedicated only to the treatment of people with COVID-19.
Even though the number of people infected with coronavirus in this municipality is around 20, the medical staff in cooperation with the municipality are preparing in case the number of patients increases, KOHA reports.
Doctor Bujar Bajselmani says that until now all cases with worse health conditions are sent to the Regional Hospital of Prizren.
The municipality of Suhareka, since March until now, had over 80 confirmed cases of coronavirus, of which over 50 have recovered.
The mayor of this municipality, Bali Muharremaj, said that the preparation of the rooms is being done to help the citizens of this municipality, but also of Prizren in case of need.
In the Municipality of Suhareka, since the onset of the pandemic, 2 people have died, while most of the infected are in self-isolation.
