The Specialized Prosecutor's Office has carried out several raids on the apartment of Blerim Shala, the former adviser of the former Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi, lawyer Artan Qerkini has confirmed for TIME.
Raids are also being carried out in the house of the former head of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Bashkim Smakaj.
He said that the raid was short and that for the disclosure of other details he will consult with Shala, his client, during the day.
The raids have also been confirmed by the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor.
"The Office of the Specialized Prosecutor is conducting continuous operations in Kosovo. The operations are being supported by the Kosovo Police and the European Union Mission for the Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX)", says the announcement of the ZPS for TIME
The police have blocked both entrances to the "Agim Prodani" road that lead to the house of the former head of the KIA and the former adviser of the former president Thaçi.
Currently, Special's raids are ongoing.
