Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti met with his Croatian counterpart, Andrej Plenkovic, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly High-Level Week in New York.
In an announcement on social media, Kurti said that the meeting discussed bilateral relations, regional developments, cooperation in the field of security and defense, as well as Kosovo's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Kurti said that he also discussed with Plenkovic the recent decision of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers to convict four former KLA leaders, emphasizing, as he put it, "the unfair asymmetry of responsibility for the war."
The meeting also discussed the issue of missing persons and mass graves recently discovered in Kosovo, while Kurti raised concerns about Serbia's failure to open archives.
Another topic of discussion was, according to Kurti, "the ongoing administrative discrimination" against Albanians in the Presheva Valley.

Kurti appreciated the cooperation with Croatia in the field of defense and military, as well as Zagreb's support for Kosovo's journey towards the European Union, the Council of Europe and Euro-Atlantic integration.
He also announced that he welcomed the cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of Kosovo and Croatia in the case of Bajram Bajrami, the Kosovar citizen who was detained in Croatia based on a Serbian arrest warrant and was released today.
