The chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovic, will meet today in Brussels within the dialogue mediated by the European Union.
The EU has warned that the agenda will include discussions on the implementation of the Brussels Agreement on the path to the normalization of relations. From both parties, they expect from the European Union the implementation of the obligations of the dialogue without delay and without preconditions.
"As part of the discussions, the parties will discuss the way forward for the implementation of the Agreement on the road to normalization, as well as the implementation of other dialogue agreements. As we have said many times before, both sides are expected to implement all their respective dialogue obligations without any delay or preconditions", stated Peter Stano, EU spokesperson.
Last year's agreement has not yet been implemented.
On Wednesday of last week, Kosovo and Serbia did not hold a high-level meeting, after Prime Minister Albin Kurti conditioned the meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic.
In addition to handing over the person responsible for the Banjska attack, Milan Radoicic, and other persons responsible, Prime Minister Albin Kurti made the meeting with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, conditional on the signing of agreements, and the withdrawal of the letter of the former Serbian Prime Minister Ana Bernabic, with which Serbia declares that it will not implement some points of the basic agreement.
