Oil has a higher maximum price on Tuesday compared to Monday, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MINTI) announced. In contrast, gasoline has been freed.
According to the decision published on Tuesday, the maximum prices per liter are:
Diesel, 1.88 euros per liter
Gasoline, 1.46 euros per liter
Gas 0.74 euros per liter.
The day before, diesel had a maximum price of 1.86 euros per liter and gasoline 1.49 euros per liter.

A day earlier, MINTI announced the continuation of the maximum daily price for fuel in Kosovo. Based on this mechanism, the Ministry will publish every day, no later than 10:00, the maximum price allowed for the sale of fuels in the local market, which will be based on the average of updated imports of 10 million liters for diesel and 1 million liters for other fuels. The decision provides for a maximum retail price of 12 cents more expensive than the supply price and 2 cents for wholesale sales.
Oil prices have been rising globally since the United States and Israel launched a war on Iran on February 28. Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz, which is used as a route for 20 percent of the world's oil.
