The sociologist warns about the challenges of TikTok that are being played in Kosovo's schools

challenge on TikTok

Sociologist Jeton Brajshori has alerted about the "Spiderman" and "Superman" challenges on the TikTok social network, which are being played, as he wrote, in the schools of Kosovo.

"Spiderman" and "Superman" challenges have taken off on TikTok recently. In the "Spiderman" challenge, two people join hands, while a third person jumps on them and then throws them back. Meanwhile, in the "Superman" challenge, some people throw up another.

In a Facebook status on Wednesday, Brajshori said that children are suffering great damage from these challenges.

"Watch out! The new dangerous game called "Spiderman", or even "Superman" is being played in schools! 3 or more people catch one by tossing it in the air saying hello Spiderman or superman. People who fall to the ground have serious injuries to their limbs and head!", he wrote.

Furthermore, Brajshori asked school principals and parents to be vigilant in changing the mood and physical appearance of their children.

"There should be observations from school directorates as well as parents to be alert to changes in the mood and physical appearance of their children (looking for any hematoma). Let the triangle work together so that the consequences are smaller!", wrote Brajshori.

It has been a while since the challenges of TikTok have been put in the center of discussions because of the great danger for children. There have also been calls for this social network to be banned in Kosovo.

In May of this year, in Fushë-Kosovo, 17 students self-harmed in response to a TikTok challenge.

According to a survey by "Save the Children Kosovo", children identified TikTok as the platform where they are bullied the most.

A few days ago, KOHA reported how social networks are causing anxiety and isolation to children.
