The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, has received in a meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Karl Erjavec, who is visiting our country.
The meeting discussed the excellent relations between the two countries and the possibilities of their advancement in many fields, especially in the economic sphere.
After getting to know the Slovenian chief diplomat about the developments in Kosovo and in its Assembly in particular, with a focus on the European agenda as a national priority, Parliament Speaker Veseli thanked him for the continuous contribution of Slovenia in the direction of strengthening Kosovo's citizenship, economic development, as and for support on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration.
Veseli stressed the need for further intensification of inter-parliamentary relations and the continuation of official Ljubljana's support for Kosovo in the future.
The Slovenian foreign minister, Erjavec, for his part, emphasized that Slovenia's support for Kosovo will not be lacking, both in the economic sector and in the most successful realization of the process of Euro-integration and membership in international organizations.
