A large-scale fire engulfed the Priska e Madhe area of the Daias village in Tirana during the afternoon hours.
The flames, fanned by wind, spread rapidly, while smoke covered the entire area. Firefighters are continuing to battle the flames, which are of large size.
Firefighters have arrived at the scene, working to bring the flames under control, along with an Air Force helicopter. Meanwhile, it is reported that there are no problems for homes, as the area affected by the flames is mainly covered with dense vegetation and bushes.
The situation has worsened in the afternoon hours in the village of Abazë in Kruja, where the municipality has ordered the evacuation of residents. The flames are being fanned by strong winds, endangering homes. Dozens of firefighting forces and helicopters are working at the scene.
The fire has been raging for days in Lura i Dibra, burning entire areas. Over 20 emergency forces and residents are working to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading to homes. /TCH
