The final decision in the trial of former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague has been postponed to July 20 of this year.

Luka Misetic, the lawyer for former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, confirmed the postponement of the verdict. He confirmed the accuracy of media reports regarding this matter.

"I can confirm that this is correct," Misetic told RTK in response to the question of whether the decision has been postponed to July 20.

The verdict was initially scheduled to be announced on May 19, in accordance with procedural deadlines. However, according to the rules of the Special Court, the panel has 90 days to issue a decision, with the possibility of an extension of up to 60 days.
