The January-December 2025 work report of the SHSKUK presents dozens of services as new or consolidated, although many of them have been performed for years in the QKUK clinics. Data provided by the clinics themselves show that some services have started since 2008, while they are presented in the report as from 2025.

The University Clinical Hospital Service (SHSKUK) has listed as new services during 2025 at the University Clinical Center (QKUK) a range of services that date back many years.

These services are listed in the SHSKUK's January-December 2025 work report, which was approved by the Board of Directors on February 18.

The report with this content, which was approved by the board, was published on the official website on March 4, and then updated on March 26, under the justification that there were some technical inconsistencies in it.

In the updated report, the "consolidated services" section has been added to the row of the table for new services.

However, based on the responses provided by the clinics themselves, there are services that existed many years earlier and were implemented even before.

In the Cardiac Surgery Clinic, the advanced aortic procedure "Bentall + Supracoronary graft with hemiarch replacement" for acute aortic dissections has been mentioned as a new or consolidated service.

According to the response given by the Clinic, these procedures have been performed separately for several years.

"The Bentall Procedure in Cardiac Surgery began to be performed in 2016, and Hemiarch Replacement in 2023. While during 2025, 5 cardiac surgical interventions were performed according to the Bentall procedure, as well as 2 with Hemiarch Replacement (in cases with acute aortic dissection)," the response from the Cardiac Surgery Clinic states.

Nine services with the name of new or consolidated service are listed at the Clinic of Allergology with Immunology.

But five of them, based on the Clinic's responses, have existed previously, some since 2008, and some since 2021 and 2023.

"1. Drug testing (Prick, IDR): Year of testing start, 2008. Total number of patients tested during 2025: Number of Prick tests, 58. Number of IDR tests, 58. At the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic, two services are listed as new or consolidated during 2025.

Regarding the posturography service, the report also notes that it is awaiting training from the company.

As for osteodensiometry (DEXA), based on the Clinic's response, the service has started since 2024, while during 2025, 329 services were performed.

Similar services that existed have been listed as new in the Pediatrics Clinic.

"In the Pediatric Clinic, in the Chronic Gastroenterology department, biological therapy with infliximab began in February 2023. Initially, there were 6 patients, while 4 patients are currently undergoing treatment. In the Pediatric Rheumatology department, biological therapy with adalimumab began in April 2023. During 2025, 17 patients were treated, while therapy is expected to begin in 5 other patients," the Pediatric Clinic's response states.

Neither SHSKUK nor the Board of Directors have provided explanations as to why these services were presented in the annual report as new services.

The report also contains inaccurate data for several other units and hospitals.

KOHA reported that anti-cancer therapy at the Prizren Hospital is presented as a service operationalized during 2025 in the SHSKUK report, but data from the hospital itself denies this claim.
