The Albanians of the Valley protest again, today the march takes place in Presheva
The Albanians of the Valley will continue to protest against the violations of their rights by Serbia.
After the protest held on August 12 in Bujanoc, today they will march in Presevo with the motto "For identity and dignity".
The protest will start at 13:00.
The mayor of Presheva, Ardita Sinani, said that in this protest, the termination of the passivation of addresses of Albanians from Serbia, the recognition of diplomas, jobs and institutions open to all will be demanded.
"Let's march for equality and justice! In August we were in Bujanoc, in September we are in Presevo, to prove that we are one. Our problems can no longer be postponed. Nothing less than what we deserve, never more, but always what we deserve! For the implementation of the signed Agreements and for the fulfillment of the state's obligations towards the Albanians of the Presheva Valley. For Presheva with the Court, for institutions where Albanians are represented! This is for all of us, for our dignity and identity. Come out and march," she wrote on Facebook.
The chairman of the Albanian National Council, Nevzad Lutfiu, spoke earlier about the demands.
"We ask for the attention of the international factor, we will highlight all the forms of discrimination that Serbia has been carrying out for years, and normally we highlight all those agreements and commitments that Serbia has taken towards the Albanian community, where in most of the agreements were also mediated by the international factor, but Serbia has never respected those agreements", he declared.
After the protest held last month, threatening calls to Albanians were exposed in Bujanoc.
According to Lutfiu, the organization of Albanians against injustices is exposing the nationalists.
The only Albanian deputy in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has also called for participation in the protest.
