Blender Shatri

Blendor Shatri, legal representative of the United Education and Culture Union (SBASHK), has stated that they demand the amendment of the Law on pension schemes financed by the state, adding that pensioners are burdened with a pension of 100 euros.

He said on Monday in KTV's "Interaktiv" that those who worked in the system of Yugoslavia today enjoy the full pension "and those who fought that system are discriminated against after the war.

"Employees of the Kosovo education system at the time and those fired from their jobs have been discriminated against after they were forced to leave, and a person, whether an Albanian who worked until 99, now with the addition-amendment of the law, realizes the pension of complete, and those who have fought against that system are discriminated against", said Shatri.

The legal officer of SBASHK has added that this Law does not affect only the Union, but all pensioners who have given their contribution.

Shatri added that legal deadlines are in order and this law can be approved within this year "if there is political will". He added that the parliamentary groups in the Assembly support such an initiative, initiated by the Speaker of the Assembly, Glauk Konjufca.

"In the past, we have had bad relations with the Government, but this initiative is not only about SBASHK. We started with the verdict of the Constitutional Court, we made the proposal for all the persons affected by this law. With the will of the deputies, this legislative initiative will be pushed forward quickly", he added.
