Former Minister of Finance, Haki Shatri, has said that the ruling party should be more cooperative when it knows the current situation.
On Thursday on KTV's "Interaktiv", Shatri said that the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, must understand that the country needs institutions, so he must offer them to the people and not insult them.
"The three major opposition parties have 58 percent of the votes, these 42 percent. When you know you've fallen to this level, lower your head a little, be a little more cooperative, understand that this country needs institutions, offer people, don't belittle them with insulting words," he said.
Shatri added that the Vetëvendosje Movement has made offers for coalition agreements that are not serious.
"The hassle and procedures that have been too unnecessary for me and the people who have received the mandate to govern this country should be more responsible. We have come to a situation where we do not have a budget, the government has approved a document. The ruling party has made offers for coalition agreements that are not serious. Even with the first mandate holder, they have not made anyone a serious offer for a governing coalition. Serious offers these days are made in writing where positions are offered," he emphasized.
The party he belongs to, AAK, according to Shatri, has no intention of joining "someone who asks to join them without any offer."
"We are ready to go to the elections," he declared.
