The Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, has continued meetings with senior officials of the United Arab Emirates, in an official visit there at the invitation of the Minister of Economy of this country, Sultan Bin Saeed Almansoori.
Shala met the secretary for foreign investments in the Ministry of Economy, Abdulla Ahmed Al Saleh, where he emphasized that they had a friendly conversation with Al Saleh and informed him about the opportunities that Kosovo offers for investments, stressing that "our countries are friends, and we must continue to cultivate this friendship, connecting more economically".
"The United Emirates is an example of how a natural resource has turned into a tool for development, but the right economic policies have made this resource no longer the main economic generator. We must use our human and economic capital in order to continue with the creation of appropriate policies that absorb more investors, that increase employment, export and develop the country", emphasized Shala during the meeting.
The Minister is staying in the United Arab Emirates at the annual investment conference, with the theme: "Platform for World Investments", where 140 countries from different countries of the world are participating, including the Republic of Kosovo.
