KOHA learns that the arrested are Xhemë and Bashkim Emini. The editorial office has contacted one of their family members, but he is not willing to speak since, as he said, they are in a bad emotional state.
Meanwhile, the head of the branch of the Kosovo Liberation Army War Veterans Organization in Rahovec, Qemajl Krasniqi, said the two arrested were not part of the KLA.
"In my capacity as the head of the OVL-UÇK branch in Rahovec, I say with responsibility that these are not on our list of veterans," Krasniqi said in a response to KOHĖNA.
Serbia announces it has arrested two people on suspicion of war crimes in Kosovo
Serbian authorities have reported that they have arrested people at the Horgosh border crossing on suspicion of war crimes committed in Kosovo in 1999.
This was announced by Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic.
As reported, the arrested are HE (1976) and BE (1973). As he stated, they were arrested upon entering Serbia.

According to Serbian media, this is the first public announcement by the Minister of Interior regarding the increasingly frequent arrests of former KLA members passing through Serbia.
"It is suspected that on August 9, 1999, in Rahovec, in cooperation with several members of the so-called 'KLA', with the use of physical force, firearms and serious threats to life and limb, they kidnapped a civilian of Serbian nationality, JM, and took him to an unknown destination, since which time all traces of him have been lost. JM is still listed as a missing person. The suspects, with the approval of the public prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes, have been ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours, after which they will be brought to the competent prosecutor's office with a criminal report," the Serbian MUP statement reads.
