The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said that everyone in the region "is arming itself to the teeth" and that "Serbia will not be left behind in this direction".
Vucic spoke during his visit to the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Belgrade, "N1" reports.
"Everyone is arming themselves to the teeth. They are also arming themselves in the region and it is up to us not to be left behind. All I can tell you is that we will not be left behind," said Vucic.
He said that the public will soon see this.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has repeatedly warned about the armament of Serbia.
"The F-3 missile system (exported version of the HQ-22) is one of the Chinese weapons used by the Serbian Army, including CH-92 drones. This makes Serbia the first and only operator of Chinese weapons in Europe, while it has openly shown violent aggression against Kosovo", Kurti wrote in November last year on the "X" platform.
