Various representatives of municipalities with a Serbian majority such as Graçanica, Partesh and Novobërda say that the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti is welcome to visit them, "but only if he has a good intention".
According to them, the Kurti 2 Government is doing 100 days since it has been in office and has not visited any municipality with a Serbian majority in Kosovo, writes Kossev on Thursday.
"100 days is not a long period, but a promise is a promise. I think that the initiative should come from the Government and the Prime Minister, or his team. For starters, if not the prime minister, it could be someone from his team", said Dejan Radivojevic from the Forum for Development and Multi-Ethnic Cooperation (FDMC), referring to Kurti during the pre-election campaign that he will make contact with the Serbs in Kosovo without mediation. of Serbia.
At a roundtable held at the Media Center in Çaglavicë, officials from several municipalities were also present.
The Director of Cadastre in the Municipality of Graçanica, Nebojsha Periq, says that they are hospitable in this town.
"We in Graçanica are good hosts, but also in other municipalities with Serbian majority. Anyone who has good intentions is welcome," Periq said, Kossev reports.
Even Ivica Jançiq, an official from the Municipality of Partesh, is waiting for Kurt's visit.
"My personal opinion is that Kurti should visit Partesh, to be personally informed about the problems that a small municipality faces", said Jançiq.
And Zoran Cvetkovic from Novobërda, says that the population is waiting for the promised changes.
"The population is waiting for some changes that he promised them. New investments are expected. Our municipality is very poor. Any investment is welcome", said Cvetkovic, an official in the Municipality of Novorbërde.
According to a report presented at this table, the Serbs interviewed in these municipalities said that their problems should be solved by the elected Serbian representatives in the institutions of Kosovo, not the Albanians.
FDMC director Radivojevic says this is a mistake.
"This is a total paradox. Everyone who sits in the Government must answer to all communities, as this is their job, not the wish or opinion of a community. Again, Kurti must start, take the first step", said Radivojevic.
