The Secretary General of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Alim Rama, has stated that the Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) should annul the votes of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and approve a re-voting by mail, as according to him there were massive manipulations in the electoral process. According to him, 15 out of 18 thousand LDK postal votes are falsified.
"If the ECAP is professional and shows all the evidence, it will cancel the LDK votes and approve the re-voting by mail. We have presented hundreds of copies of ID cards that show an organized scheme, where all the ballots are marked as if in a factory," Rama said on KTV's "Interaktiv".
He emphasized that there is a large discrepancy in the votes of LDK candidates, giving the example of Hysen Çekaj, who received around 11 votes within Kosovo, while over 12 by mail and only 92 votes in the embassy vote.
"This is a circumstance that shows that there was manipulation. Lumiri said that we are certain of 40 votes from the diaspora. No one knows the safe votes, only the one who manipulates," he added.
According to Rama, it is difficult to identify exactly the 18 LDK postal votes that were manipulated, but a significant portion of them, as he says, were falsified.
"All the ballots are the same, this shows that only one printer was used. There was also manipulation in the registration, with hundreds of people registered with the same phone number and the same email address. There are about 15 thousand LDK postal votes that are falsified," he stressed.
Rama added that there are cases where voters have declared that they did not vote, but are listed as LDK voters by the Central Election Commission (CEC). He described this as a criminal act and called for an in-depth investigation to uncover electoral manipulations.

The VV Secretary said that if the ECAP does not approve the complaint, they will continue to the higher instances.
After the announcement of the final results by the CEC, the LVV requested that the ECAP cancel the LDK's postal votes, that a re-vote be held, and that candidates who received disproportionately more votes by mail than in Kosovo be removed from the list and not replaced with other members.
The LDK considered that with these actions, the ruling party is putting pressure on the ECAP.
