The deputy of the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo, Dardan Sejdiu, has responded to his former party member, Glauk Konjufca, for the motion of no confidence.
Through a post on Facebook, he wrote that if Konjufca can topple the Haradinaj Government with the votes of the Serbian List, there is no need for the PSD.
Sejdiu has stated that Glauk Konjufca continues to manipulate public opinion by saying that Isa Mustafa was overthrown by the votes of the Serbian List, but according to him, Konjufca does not specify that at that time, the votes of the Serbian List were not decisive for his overthrow . He says that it was the coalition partner's calculations that put an end to it.
"Perhaps it is the right of the "Self-Determination" Movement!" to demand the overthrow of the Haradinaj Government through the DETERMINING votes of the Serbian List, which represents Belgrade's agenda in Kosovo. As of today, the Vetëvendosje Movement can collect the votes and signatures of its deputies", he writes.
Sejdiu calls the denigration of the PSD in this process by the Vetëvendosje Movement disturbing.

He says that the PSD is accused of opportunism and betrayal of the opposition, while in particular, its refusal to accept the votes of the Serbian List is seen only as a justification, and as such a reason.
"Furthermore, Konjufca's statements contradict the positions of other representatives of the Vetëvendosje Movement - but also of the Democratic League of Kosovo - regarding the calculation of the votes of the Serbian List. A significant number of them (Rexhep Selimi, Sami Kurteshi, Lutfi Haziri, etc.) have publicly repeated several times their refusal to accept the Serbian vote for the overthrow of the Haradinaj Government", he writes.
Sejdiu says that the Social Democratic Party does not support the position that representatives of Serbian government policy should determine the time and manner of overthrowing the government of the Republic of Kosovo.
"For something like this, PSD does not give votes in the Assembly of the Republic. Neither today, nor tomorrow", he writes.

Konjufca says that the motion to overthrow the Government should have been brought to the Assembly during June
Among other things, he says that the Social Democratic Party will join Glauk Konjufca when he brings the signatures of at least 49 deputies who are not from the Serbian List.
"When this is achieved, it will be irrelevant whether Lista Serbe will vote or not to overthrow the Haradinaj Government. Statements like this by Konjufca are attempts to blame the PSD for the lack of will and wisdom in the Vetëvendosje Movement in the strategy of overthrowing the government. Moreover, such attitudes only further complicate any effective opposition cooperation in the process", he says.
