Sead Veseli has been elected the best soldier of the Kosovo Security Force for 2024, in the ceremony held on Friday at the "Skënderbeu" barracks in Ferizaj.
He came out with the highest results in the "Best Soldier 2024" international competition, which was held from April 22 to 26. According to the announcement by the KSF, there were 51 participants, 29 of them were international participants and 22 KSF.
Veseli is a soldier from the 3rd Infantry Regiment. Lavdim Ibishi came second in this competition and Endrit Shartolli came third.
While in the ranks of internationals, the first place was won by non-commissioned officer from Jordan, Mohammed Yousef Ahmad, who was once declared "the best international soldier 2024", followed by Sergeant Salameh Maddallah Salameh, also from Jordan, who was ranked second, while the third place went to the non-commissioned officer from Montenegro, Zoran Marijanović.
The "Best Soldier 2024" competition was organized by the sergeant majors of the KSF Commands and units, under the direction of the sergeant major of the KSF Commander Bedri Zuka.
Contestants from Kosovo, the United States of America, Albania, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Jordan, Canada and Latvia participated in the "Best Soldier 2024" competition. The participants competed in the disciplines: physical test, long and belt shooting, land navigation, crossing the reliability range, grenade throwing, first aid, terrain observation and marching.
