The Serbian opposition politician, Nikola Sandulović, has accused the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, of being behind his assassination attempt. Last month he was beaten to death by agents of the secret service - BIA, because of paying tribute and placing flowers near the grave of an Albanian girl, killed by Serbian forces in the Kosovo war.
Sandulović, in an interview for RTK, emphasized that he has not yet recovered from the injuries he suffered from the brutal beating of the BIA, but said that he is more concerned about the uncertainty about his life and that of his family.
"To be honest, I'm not well, I feel pain on my left side from a broken rib that hasn't healed yet and unfortunately I still can't move my right hand or leg. I am more worried about how this work will continue in the future than about what I have experienced. To be honest, I do not feel any security and, as you can see, the situation itself for me and my family is still complicated. My daughter is exposed to various attacks, threats and messages, which have started on multiple networks and with the publication of her photos. So the situation is just a continuation of what you have heard from my stories and the events between me and Aleksandar Vučić. Everything is still going on. But now the pressure is even greater and the threats are visible and open, such as threats to life, rape and burning of the house", Sandulović emphasized.
He further said that the police turned a blind eye to these events and what happened to him.
"Now they are following my profiles; they intercept all my family's phone calls and see that I am exposed to threats to my life, both me and my family, and they do absolutely nothing about it," added the Serbian politician.
He went on to directly accuse Serbian President Vučić of the beating and torture, as he called this an attempted murder.
"The proof of this is yesterday's statement of Aleksandar Vučić, who, in Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statement to the Security Council, that the secret police kidnapped me and beat me to such an extent that I was paralyzed, he emphasized that I I am an unknown personality. I am known by thousands of people in Serbia, not to mention millions of other people from around the world, while Vuçiqi says that I am an unknown personality, who participated in the elections and did not win even 0,1% of the votes . This is a big lie because he is generally trying to distort history and I am convinced by his response and denial of the event that he (Vucic, vj) is the man behind this event and all to this terrible story, tortures and beatings and I can freely say attempted murder", said Sandulović.
He said that until now no investigative body has dealt with his case, until he said that the statement of the Basic Court in Belgrade that they have proven that no force was used against him shows that this is a premeditated political murder.
Sanduloviqi further stated that during the interrogation and beating of several hours by the secret service, they filmed him with private phones, until, among others, one of the main questions was "how was I able to put flowers on the grave of the Albanian girl".
"On this occasion, they asked me, is she an innocent victim? I told you, yes, for me she is an innocent victim. Then they beat me, cursed the Albanian mother, and so on. Then, the suspicion that I committed the criminal offense of 'spreading national hatred' was based on this because I placed flowers on the criminal's grave. So, the little girl Blerina Jashari, the seven-year-old little angel, who was killed by a bullet in the back of the head, was a criminal for the Serbian authorities and for the dictatorial nationalist regime. She is not a criminal to me. That innocent child is an angel; an innocent victim, and the lawyer Čedomir Stojković, who came and laid flowers, also agreed with my opinion. The vice-president of the Republican Party, Mihajlo Todić, also came, as well as my daughter Klara Sandulović," Sandullović said.
Sandulovic: Among those who beat me were Rakiqi and Radojiciqi
The Serbian opposition politician, Nikola Sandulović, said that among those who tortured him were the leaders of the Serbian List, Goran Rakić and Milan Radojićić, as well as the leader of the gangs in the north, Zvonko Veselinović.
He said that BIA agents kidnapped him at 14:40 p.m. in front of his house and until 21:XNUMX p.m. he faced beatings, torture, death threats for him and his family and endless hatred towards Albanians, called "shiptari".
"I recognized the faces, which are very familiar to you, and that one of those figures, that is, who shot me on the phone, was also the chairman of the Serbian List, Goran Rakić, who also insulted me with mother and shot me. That they all shot according to the order and when one of them asked them, did you shoot and send it, they answered yes. Then that group was told to delete them immediately, while the other people who were wearing masks, there is a great possibility that I knew one of them and I can say that it was Milan Radoicic, while the other person, who for four hours stood over me, got in my face, punched me on the back of the head and stomped on my hands, because we were looking at each other's eyes at a distance of 20 to 30 centimeters, and those eyes I kept them in mind and I can say with great certainty that he was Zvonko Veselinović", confessed the Serbian politician.
He further said that the group of 15 people who interrogated him and who hid their faces were Serbs from Kosovo, as they had the accent of Serbs from Kosovo.
"This group was composed of approximately 15 people and I remembered those who were in civilian clothes, and believe me, the masked people, but also those who were not masked, I can identify 100%. Goran Rakiq did not wear a mask, but he was part of that group of five people who shot, shouted, insulted and threatened to kill me and my family and spat at me because I had placed flowers on the girl's grave", he added.
Sanduloviqi has said that from what he has experienced himself, he can now completely understand what torture Albanians have experienced.
"Although I have seen all of them in photographs and I was horrified by the crimes committed and I apologized for the crimes that normal people in Serbia would never commit. But, when they do these atrocities against a Serb, then I can only imagine what they did to the Albanians and now I have no doubt why the Albanian people in Kosovo took up arms," Sanduloviqi said. / RTK
