"It is painful and a bad sign that all the parties have lost as far as the four northern municipalities are concerned. They failed to have a candidate from North Mitrovica, Leposaviqi, Zubin-Potoku, Zveçani. This is a bad sign. Not even a party, I speak from the Albanian community as the Serbian community has several", Sadiku stated.

He said that it is another matter that the parties campaign with the north.

Shala: Sergeant Bunjaku is not a martyr of the LVV, but of Kosovo

The expert on security issues, Drizan Shala, has stated that the Vetëvendosje Movement was wrong when it used the name of the hero Afrim Bunjaku in the Sunday rally in Mitrovica.

He said on Monday in "Elections in Time" that Bunjaku is a hero of the nation, not of LVV or of other parties.

"We had cheering and misuse of the national martyr and the north is the only card on which the current government can base its entire four-year term... Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku is a national martyr, and he is not a martyr of the Vetëvendosje Movement or any other political entity, but a martyr of the country," Shala said.

According to him, Bunjaku fell a hero defending the Republic of Kosovo and its uniform against terrorist groups incited by official Belgrade.

"The misuse of any name devalues the weight and their actions in the context of time", he added.

Bosnian: Police officers have been mistreated in the north, the police have been misused

Urall Boshnjaku, a journalist in the "Mitropol" medium, said that Kosovo policemen were mistreated in the north by working long hours and traveling from other cities in Kosovo.

He has said that it is a discrepancy when in political gatherings it is said that the north is safe and the policemen in the north are forced to keep a 12-hour schedule.

"The government has had the strongest weapon in the north for 4 years. The Kosovo Police has been misused somehow. Kosovo policemen are mistreated on duty in the north... We have policemen who are forced to travel from cities all over Kosovo to come and keep a 12-hour schedule because the security situation is considered to be at risk. If on the ground we assess that the security situation is at risk, and in the bina where the political parties come out they say that the north is safe, then we have a discrepancy. So, if in the field you are forced to keep the policemen for 12 hours and bring them from other cities to operate in North Mitrovica, then we have lost somewhere. If you say the north is safe then you have to show how it is. Bullying the cops, making them dysfunctional? It's absolutely cheating, unfortunately," said the Bosniak in "Elections in Time" on KTV.

He said that a policeman cannot be efficient if he works 12 hours, since he travels 2-3 hours from another city.

"We are not dealing with robots", said the Bosnian.
