The Kosovo Women's Network (RRGK) has demanded an immediate solution to the strike of the technical workers of the Assembly of Kosovo.

In a communiqué of the RRGK, it is stated that the technical workers entered the fifth week of the strike and no solution has yet been offered to them, as they say, despite numerous calls from civil society and public reactions.

The communiqué states that this neglect of their demands is unacceptable.

"RRGK calls on all the responsible actors who have the solution to this problem in hand, to act immediately! It is clear that promises and empty words are not enough and concrete steps are definitely needed. The technical workers are demanding the improvement of their working conditions and the increase of the salary from 275 to 550 euros. These are basic and legitimate demands that reflect a minimum standard for dignity at work today. The extension of this strike is not only an institutional failure, but also an injustice to those who keep our institutions alive with their important work", the communiqué states.
