Rama dismisses the vice-president of Pristina from the ranks of the PDK, instead appoints one from the LDK

The mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, dismissed the vice-president Donjeta Sahatçiu on the grounds that there is a delay in the field of digitalization. A few hours after the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic Party of Kosovo announced on Monday that they had called an extraordinary session for Thursday, to cancel the decision on the exchange of properties, the mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, dismissed another PDK official from his position. of.

Rama dismissed the vice-president Donjeta Sahatçiu, on the grounds that there are delays in the field of digitization.

"This project, as you know, was one of the promises made, wanting to improve and modernize the institutions of the Capital. Therefore, due to the numerous delays in the process and the stalling of the digitization project, I have made the decision to relieve Mrs. Donjeta Sahatçiu, from the position of Deputy Mayor of the Capital and the position of Acting Director of Education. Dr. Jehona Lushaku - Sadriu, I have appointed her the Vice-Mayor of the Capital and Acting Director of Education. Dr. Lushaku - Sadriu is a well-known university professor with numerous professional achievements", Rama wrote on Facebook.

LDK and PDK are in a coalition in the capital and Sahatçiu is the next official to be dismissed from Rama. A few days ago, the director of Public Services, Ilirik Musliu, was dismissed.

The crisis in the coalition has surfaced in recent days.

The PDK has joined Vetëvendosje in collecting signatures to cancel the decision to exchange public properties with private ones.

In a series of articles KOHA reflected how the properties of the former client of the mayor Rama in Badoc, where construction was not allowed, were changed to public ones in the Prishtina e Re area, where construction is allowed.

The session to cancel this decision has been called for Thursday at 14:00 p.m., while the one last week failed due to lack of quorum.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Pristina, Rama, has also announced some changes in the cabinet, calling it "restructuring".

According to the announcement, the Directorate of Planning and that of Urbanism have merged into one, thus removing from the cabinet the director of Strategic Planning, Mimoza Sylejmani.

"In the field of better operation and management of the Planning and Urbanism sectors, I have decided to merge these two directorates into a single directorate, which will be headed by the well-known architect, Mr. Arber Sadiki. I want to thank the current director of Strategic Planning, Mrs. Mimoza Sylejmani for her professional work and dedication. Mrs. Sylejmani has taken the responsibility of planning advisor within my cabinet", wrote Rama.

Rama has also announced that he has decided that the Directorate of Property and the Directorate of Cadastre will merge into one Directorate of Property and Cadastre, which will be led by Doruntina Maloku, while the current director of Cadastre, Donat Lushaku, according to Rama, will be appointed in the position of the spokesperson of the capital.

And instead of Ilirik Musli, the director of Public Services who was fired last week, Rama has appointed Bekim Brestovc.

"After the dismissal of the director of Public Services, today, I appointed Mr. Bekim Brestovci, a professional with many years of experience in Germany and Kosovo, as the new Director of Public Services. I expect him to immediately take all the necessary measures to put an end to the waste problem and all other issues related to the scope of this directorate", wrote Rama.

He also announced the formation of a new directorate.

"In order to accelerate the transformation of the Capital and to advance the standards of construction and safety of citizens, I have decided to establish the Directorate for Transformation. At its head, I appointed the well-known architect, Mr. Ilir Murseli. This directorate will also have in its scope the development of major projects, including infrastructural preparations for the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games", wrote Rama.

According to him, this restructuring of governance in the capital is good for Pristina and its citizens.

In his Facebook status, Rama also wrote about the problem with stray dogs and said that he asked the director for Security and Emergency to solve the problem by the end of this year.

"Another issue that is preoccupying the citizens of Pristina, and we still haven't given a solution, is the stray dogs. Therefore, today I asked the director for Security and Emergency to change the situation substantially by the end of this year. For me, the safety and well-being of citizens is one of the most important elements of governance," Rama wrote.
