The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, while speaking about Albania's integration into the European Union, said that they are only two years away from realizing this goal.
On Tuesday, in the "Sy m'sy" section on his Facebook account, Rama said that his goal is to place the red and black flag on the EU table.
According to him, that window that has been opened should not be closed without the integration of Albania.
"We are very close, my friends, we have been close for two years. It is important that this window should not close without us joining the EU," he said.
For 11 years now, Albania has been a candidate country, and in March 2020, the European Council approved the decision of the EU General Affairs Council to open negotiations with Albania.
