Rama after violent protests: These are not the hands of the students, but of the opposition

Edi Rama

He described it as a symbol of what happened in the capital, accusing the opposition of trying to hinder Albania on its path towards European integration.

"Whoever has a hand in this mess will pay. Albania and Albanians will never return. The future belongs to the students and Albanians. These are not the hands of the students, but of the opposition that wants Albania to the abyss," Rama said.

Ai ka thënë se, pavarësisht asaj që ndodhi, Shqipëria do të vazhdojë rrugën drejt Evropës dhe nuk do të lejojë kthimin pas.

In the last two days, violence has erupted in student-organized protests. Protesters have attacked institutions, buildings, and demolished traffic signs and fences. They have also set several buildings on fire. They are demanding Rama's resignation.
