Rama after violent protests: These are not the hands of the students, but of the opposition

Edi Rama

Rama made this statement from the premises of the College of Europe office, which was destroyed during the protest.

He described it as a symbol of what happened in the capital, accusing the opposition of trying to hinder Albania on its path towards European integration.

He said that, despite what happened, Albania will continue on its path towards Europe and will not allow a turn back.

In the last two days, violence has erupted in student-organized protests. Protesters have attacked institutions, buildings, and demolished traffic signs and fences. They have also set several buildings on fire. They are demanding Rama's resignation.
