The head of the Serbian List, Goran Rakic, said at a press conference that the candidates of the Serbian List have won local elections in 10 municipalities with a Serb majority in Kosovo.
He emphasized that they are struggling to implement the agreement on the establishment of the association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo.
"If the talks about the association do not start in the next month, there will be no more Kosovo institutions," said Rakiq.
The highest voter turnout in the October 17 local elections was recorded in the four Serb-majority municipalities in northern Kosovo.
In Zvecan, about 84 percent of the total number of citizens with the right to vote voted, respectively 5.773 persons exercised the right to vote 6.879 as many as are registered with the right to vote.
In second place in terms of turnout is Leposavic, with 74 percent of voters or over 8.500 out of 12.707 eligible voters.
High participation in voting was also recorded in other municipalities with Serbian majority in Kosovo, such as North Mitrovica with 67 percent, Novobërda with 60 percent, Zubin Potoku with 64 percent and Shtërpca with 57 percent.
According to the data of the Central Election Commission, the number of citizens with the right to vote who have voted in local elections is about 43 percent.
Meanwhile, in the municipal elections of 2017, the percentage was 43.5 percent.
These were regular local elections and 1 million 885 thousand 448 voters had the right to vote.
In these elections, 166 candidates have been certified for mayors of Kosovo.
