Kosovo Post has called on citizens to be careful not to fall prey to an SMS fraud that is being sent to them by unknown parties.
Through a notification, it has instructed not to click on any link that can be sent by SMS. He further clarified that the Post does not ask for personal data or bank numbers, thus appealing for caution from messages with such requests that can be sent to citizens.
The post office described this as an attack, but did not provide any other information.
"Kosovo Post informs the public not to fall prey to a fraud. Unknown parties are sending SMS to citizens, presenting themselves in the name of Kosovo Post. Immediately after being notified of this, the Post of Kosovo has informed the competent bodies and is cooperating with them. Dear citizens, please do not click on any link sent through these messages and do not cooperate with numbers that do not belong to the Kosovo Post. In no case, Posta e Kosova will not ask you for personal data or bank card number. Other post offices in the region have also been attacked by similar miscreants," the announcement states.
