Citizens of Podujeva will face water reductions from Wednesday, KRU Prishtina has announced.
The reductions started from 8:00 and will last until 16:00.
"Due to the enormous expenses of drinking water, the lack of water in the high points and in the center of the city of Podujeva, KRU Prishtina will from today implement water reductions for certain areas, with a planned schedule. From today, water reductions begin at 08:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. for these areas: pipe OD-160, for the village of Dumnica; pipeline 110 for the village of Shtedim and the border point in Merdar; pipe 90 for the village of Ballovc. These pipes are connected to the supply pipe before entering the city reservoirs. In the city of Podujeva: "Zahir Pajaziti" street - OD-315 pipe from the intersection with "Bedri Bajrami" street supplies the southern part of the city, "Skënderbeu" street, A.Ç. pipe. 200 from the roundabout in the direction of the southwestern part to "Llapashtica Cherries". These reductions will last until another decision, depending on water consumption", said KRU Prishtina.
