During this meeting, the establishment of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health was also approved. Through this Council, which has a 3-year mandate, it was declared that the aim is to prevent accidents in the workplace and ensure safer conditions.
"The Council will be composed of representatives of institutions, employers, employees and experts in the field with a 3-year mandate. The establishment of this Council aims to strengthen occupational safety and health standards, prevent accidents and further align local standards with European ones. The functionalization of this mechanism will enable more effective inter-institutional coordination, structured cooperation between institutions and representatives of employers and employees", said the Minister of Labor, Andin Hoti.
Within the framework of this meeting, the amendment and supplementation of the Government's decision to establish the Government Commission for the Recognition and Verification of the Status of Persons Violated During the Kosovo Liberation War was also approved.
During this meeting of the acting Government, the request for the expropriation of several immovable properties in Podujevo managed by the KPA was also approved, which enable the implementation of the projects "Construction of affordable housing" and "Educational Facility - Nursery for children".
The Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, proposed updating the State Strategic List for Military Goods, referring to the European Union List, for goods that are placed under control for reasons of national security, foreign policy, public safety, or human rights.
These agenda items, along with 13 more, were approved by the government cabinet of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.
This is the first meeting held as a government in office since the institutions were constituted on February 11 of this year, produced by the December 28 elections.
The Assembly was dissolved after the deputies of the 10th legislature failed to elect a president within the constitutionally established deadlines.
