The Government of Kosovo has approved the proposed decision for the appointment of the supervisory board of the central public enterprise "Trepça", in which the chairman and four members have been appointed, promising that the competition will soon be opened for the other four members of this board.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said at the Government meeting on Wednesday that 64 candidates applied for this competition.
Kurti has shown the selection procedures, saying that today they are appointing five members of the board, which is expected to have nine members, which will enable the immediate functioning of this board.
He added that they will clarify the issue of representation of workers on board in accordance with the law. In the meantime, the competition will be opened for other members, encouraging the application especially of minorities.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti proposed that Mentor Berisha be chairman, Fadil Bejta, member, Merita Gashi, member, Sadie Gashi, member, Alban Krasniqi, member, this proposal was approved by the government cabinet.
Their mandate lasts four years.
