The candidate for mayor of Kamenica, Qendron Kastrati, has accepted defeat.
He wrote that after collecting the majority of votes from the commissioners, Vetëvendosje has won the majority of these votes.
"I wish the opponent victory and success! It is more clear that the reform in education has influenced the mood of the five villages in these elections, which has clearly influenced the result. All those who supported us, all those who voted for us, humbly thank you! My political engagement will be inspired and motivated by my experience in Kamenica! This place will remain very special for me", he wrote.
