Since the early hours of Sunday morning, the citizens of the municipality of Lipjan are facing a lack of electricity, and as a result, the supply of drinking water has also been interrupted.
Ilmi Bublica, director of the Regional Water Company "Prishtina" in Lipjan, told TIME that the water supply was interrupted due to the lack of electricity at the pumping station.
"We have talked with KEDS, they have cut off the electricity due to some of their works in the field. The lack of electricity has also caused water supply interruptions. Meanwhile, for two hours during the day we worked with generators, but we are expecting that soon we will have electricity supply so that the citizens will also have water supply from the pumping system", said Bublica.
KOHA tried to get a statement from the KEDS information office, but contact was impossible on Sunday.
