The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) during the election process for the General Elections for the Assembly of Kosovo held on February 9, received 642 complaints filed by parties with legal interest.
Through a press release, the ECAP has announced all decisions regarding the electoral process during this period.

Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support ContributeOf all the complaints, it approved 249 decisions, rejected 242 decisions, 73 complaints were inadmissible, 4 were withdrawn, 53 were untimely and two were partially accepted. Meanwhile, the ECAP submitted 17 complaints to the Independent Media Commission and two complaints to the Council of Written Media.
Within the framework of the decisions issued, the ECAP has imposed fines of the amount of 100,000,000 on political entities that had violated the Code of Conduct. 644,100.00 €, of which only have been paid so far 101,000.00 €, ECAP further announced.
47 appeals were filed with the Supreme Court against ECAP decisions, among them; in 34 cases ECAP decisions were confirmed, 7 decisions were partially amended, while 6 ECAP decisions were amended by the Supreme Court.
