The President of the Trade Union Federation of Private Sector Workers, Jusuf Azemi, has announced that the technical workers of the Assembly of Kosovo are entering the third month of the strike.
He wrote that they will not return to work until their demands are met.
"Today we are entering the third month of the strike in the Assembly of Kosovo, the longest strike known in history, the two sides are not moving, the strikers are not, only the fulfillment of the request brings them back to work. A gesture to be respected is from Saranda Bogujevci, the deputy speaker of the Assembly who did not let them sulk in these cold temperatures, but accommodated the strikers in the interior of the Assembly. Thank you Saranda, for the rest we'll see and continue". Azemi said on Facebook.
The salary of technical workers is 250 euros, while they have been asking for 550 euros for three months now.
