The Energy Corporation of Kosovo (KEK) has announced that its workers who were tested for coronavirus on Monday, have all been negative. On Monday, 46 KEK workers were tested, who were contacts of nine KEK workers who had tested positive earlier.
"We inform you that after the tests done for COVID 19 on 08.06.2020, KEK has accepted the results from IKSHPK and fortunately all our colleagues have been negative. Despite this result, the danger from the spread of this pandemic has not yet passed, KEK continues to be in constant contact with 9 of our colleagues who have tested positive by following their health status, even though their condition is stable so far. KEK is also continuing with the tracking of all workers who are suspected to have had contact with infected persons, instructing them to self-isolate in advance, avoiding contact with family members and colleagues. In this regard, KEK in close cooperation with IKSHPK, is continuing to take all the necessary measures to protect and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic", says KEK's announcement.
