Pula: There is no normalization until Serbia does not remove Kosovo from its Constitution

Analyst Shqiprim Pula has estimated that there will be no significant progress in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process. This, according to him, is due to the pampering of Serbia by internationals.

"The dialogue will continue, but I have great doubts that this approach of Serbia and this tolerance of Brussels and other decision-making centers against Serbia makes it impossible to reach a desired conclusion", he said.

Pula has said that during the entire process of several years, concessions have been made to Serbia by the international community, while he has mentioned that he has never been asked to remove Kosovo from its Constitution. In the lack of support of the international community towards Serbia, he sees the big problem of stagnation in the process.

"During the entire dialogue process, we had moments that surprised us, and the novel 'Liza in the Wonderland' is best suited to this period of dialogue. Kosovo has gone through a period of 13 years as in this novel because the internationals have constantly surprised us with the concessions made to Serbia. It is said that Kosovo-Serbia relations should be normalized, while Serbia has never been asked, let alone pressured, to remove Kosovo from its Constitution. There can be no normalization until the actions of official Serbia against the state of Kosovo are in accordance with their Constitution. Here is the essence of the problem that the internationals have not insisted that Serbia remove Kosovo from the Constitution, accept the existence of the state of Kosovo and remove the territorial claims", he emphasized in "60 Minutes" on KTV.

 Pula has stated that the recognition of the existence of the state of Kosovo by Serbia and the establishment of diplomatic relations would help normalization. But, as he repeated further, the problem is that "internationals do not put pressure on Serbia".

"The recognition of the existence of the state and the establishment of diplomatic relations at the level of embassies would help this normalization of relations. But, over the years, the European and American factors have believed in a wrong Serbian set-up. This set is now the same as Milosevic's. At the moment when Europeans, Americans, believe in the wrong people, they turn to disappointment because they are the same ones who committed genocide in Kosovo. They are the same figures today, only with different costumes", he emphasized.

And, due to the destabilizing potential that Serbia has, Pula has said that the international community does not exert pressure.

"Serbia in the region has great potential to cause crises and conflicts, and the states in the region do not have the potential of Serbia. Given its potential, Serbia has been embraced as such".
