Inside the cell in Dubrava prison, an unusual action took place, reports KTV.
A prisoner had his mouth sewn shut after his request for weekend leave at home was refused.
He had even warned the directorate of the Dubrava prison that he would close his mouth until he died on hunger strike.
His request was rejected for another 6 months in January of this year, by the Dubrava Correctional Center, led by Zyrafete Imeraj.
The refusal of this request, sentenced to 20 years in prison for murder, had a hard time.
He had warned in a complaint to the Correctional Center that if they don't give him a weekend break, he will sew his mouth shut and die with his mouth sewn shut. After staying for a while with his mouth sewn shut, the Hospital Service of the Dubrava Correctional Center reacted, offering him medical services.
In the Correctional Service of Kosovo, they confirm that the prisoner did this action, since he was not given leave for rest due to security reasons.
