The prosecution in The Hague began its speech by saying that the defendants had a strong collective role as key members of the General Staff of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
"In the roles they had, they were able to disseminate the common criminal intent, coordinate their actions and deny the criminal offenses in order to lie to the internationals," the Prosecution said during Tuesday's hearing, EO reported.

Today is the second day of the presentation of closing statements in the court case against former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, former Speakers of Parliament Kadri Veseli and Jakup Krasniqi, and former MP Rexhep Selimi at the Special Court, based in The Hague.
Prosecutors have warned that today they will need about 2 hours to reveal the criminal responsibilities of the accused and at the end, specialized prosecutor Kimberly West will deliver a closing statement.
Then the victims' advocate will have the floor.
