Shpend Ahmeti's failed projects, promise of the candidates

They competed for the first in Pristina with programs aimed at changing the lives of citizens.

The projects of all the candidates for the mayor of Pristina contained many points and each of them had enough space to unfold them during the campaign before the October 17 elections.

The promise for the realization of road A was made by all the candidates, perhaps as a promise it was never realized by the mayor Shpend Ahmeti.

However, the director for Capital Investments, Gëzim Mehmeti, who was also a candidate for mayor of the municipality, says that this road has already been initiated and it is only a matter of time before its construction begins.

Along with the A road, the rings mentioned for decades promised the candidates again.

Some of the candidates promised a Family Medicine Center in Veternik, although one has already begun to be built.

In the lobby of the youth building there is a project that foresees the connection with the "Grand Hotel". The old project was turned into a campaign promise by those aiming for the seat of the mayor.

The central park by the cathedral was also envisioned by the current mayor, and although the underground parking lot is being built, it was not spared by the candidates as a project that is necessary for Pristina.

The construction of a tunnel on "Agim Ramadani" street and the connection of the old city of Pristina with the squares of Pristina were also presented by Shpend Ahmeti. The other candidates also mentioned the same project, although the construction of this tunnel entered the procurement procedures at the end of 2020.

However, LDK candidate Përparim Rama emphasized during the campaign that this project belonged to LDK before Ahmeti came to power.

The collectorate in Calabria and Mat was and continues to be a necessary project for Pristina, which everyone included in their governing program.
