On Thursday, citizens faced difficulties in accessing Vala's telephone service.
Many citizens have reported problems with calls, internet and sending SMS.
Telecom of Kosovo has said that this problem has to do with the migration to the new platform. Spokesman Fadil Lepaja has explained that the large flow of reconnections with the new code has caused a load on the network.
"Last night TK started the migration of new platforms and at the same time the implementation of the mobile state code. Mobile Customer Database migration is complete. In the coming days, it will be continued with other state-of-the-art platforms. As a result of this migration and the change of Monaco's code to Kosovo's, it is necessary to reconnect the telephones to the network. The extremely large flow of reconnections with a new code has caused a load on the network, in this case some customers have remained unlocalized", said Telekom's spokesperson, Fadil Lepaja, for KOĖN.
Telecom has appealed to citizens for patience, as due to the current load, operators in the Call Center and social networks may not respond immediately.
